WHO WE ARE

Tireless travelers, we enjoy charming holiday housings, comfortable and filled with the soul of the countries or regions we visit.

Our cottage “A roof under the stars” has been renovated in this spirit, with the purpose to offer our guests a place were they can spend the holiday of their dreams, whether they wish to rest in a calm countryside, discover the wonders of our regional natural reserve, or enjoy the multiple activities and sports accessible in the surroundings .

We welcome you on our cottage’s website, and hope that we shall soon have the pleasure to accommodante you and make better acquaintance.

THE COTTAGE

The Roof under the stars is located in a calm hamlet near the town of Baden, five minutes from the town center and it’s amenities and  2 kilometers from the coastal trails and beaches.

Originally, the house was a thatched cottage, sheltering the sharecroppers of the neighbouring mansion. Restored several times, it lost it’s thatched roof in the fifties, to the benefit of a larger volume on the upper floor.

Starting 2009, we engaged another renovation, with special care for it’s environmental impact. The construction materials used are natural (Non treated wood frame extension, expended cork and wood wool insulation) and the paints are organic (without any toxic fumes). The heating and hot water are provided by a heatpump.

 MAXIMUM CAPACITY: 5 Guests:

       Groundfloor:  1 double bedroom with direct access to the bathroom and a      1,4 m wide bed. 

       First floor: 1 triple bedroom with three 0,8 m wide beds, two of which can be assembled into a 1,6 m wide double bed.

The cottage is non smoking

Animal pets are not accepted

Parties are not allowed

The Roof under the stars provides an optimal level of comfort. The bedding is top quality and the heating is provided via a heated floor. The cottage is independent and it is labeled 4 épis “Gites de France”.

PRICES / AVAILABILITIES

The following are weekly prices, from Saturday 4 PM to the next Saturday 10 AM.

Local tourist taxes are not included. They are calculated upon reservation, depending on the duration of your stay and the number of guests.

Shorter durations are possible at certain periods of the year. Don’t hesitate to consult us.
